Seven new health care laws are now in effect after a bill signing ceremony in Cranston.
Governor Dan McKee says the new laws are part of a health care package that aims to improve outcomes, increase access and protect patients across Rhode Island.
The legislative package includes measures prohibiting medical debt reporting to credit bureaus, increased access to mental health support and enhancing the health care workforce.
