The Coast Guard Cutter Campbell is back in Newport after a 73 day mission.
The Campbell patrolled the Windward Passage, the waters between Cuba and Haiti.
It's mission was to lead a Homeland Security Task Force to spot and intercept illegal migrant vessels trying to reach the U.S.
The Coast Guard said during the Campbell's deployment, nearly 650 migrants were intercepted or deterred.
