Warwick police have arrested a suspect after a Saturday night fireworks incident outside of a movie theater.
The Apple Cinemas on Bald Hill Road was evacuated after 27-year-old Justin Crespo allegedly set off fireworks next to the exterior wall of the building and the sounds were mistaken for gunfire.
Crespo was found shortly after the incident and taken into custody.
Police say he admitted to setting off the fireworks and he has been released from custody pending a court date on charges that include possession of display and aerial consumer fireworks.
