The community is gathering to discuss the future of Providence Public Schools that remain under state control for the next three years.
This past weekend, residents, local leaders, and education officials met to provide feedback on the Rhode Island "Turnaround Action Plan."
It's meant to be a road map to improve student and school performance over the next three years.
The next community meeting is scheduled for December 14th in Providence.
