Thundermist Health Center is reducing its workforce of over 900 by 14 percent through 124 layoffs and it's slashing salaries for others.
The health care provider has served Woonsocket, West Warwick and South County for decades with primary and dental care, behavioral health services and social services.
It said it must immediately reduce costs by two-million-dollar a month or there's a risk of closing locations and reducing services.
