A Sunday night fire that claimed the life of a Woonsocket resident was caused by a cigarette.
According to the Fire Marshal, a person who lived at the home on Sunset Avenue fell asleep while smoking, and the fire has been ruled accidental.
Authorities have not released the name of the person who died.
