A 55-year-old Warwick man has been arrested on DUI and hit-and-run charges.
Rhode Island State Police say James Silvia was under the influence when he caused an accident on Route 95 and fled the scene on Monday afternoon.
Following his arrest, Silvia was taken to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
In addition to DUI, he's charged with refusing to submit a chemical test, and failure to stop for an accident, resulting in damage to a vehicle.
