A 59-year-old man is dead after falling overboard in the waters off of Narragansett.
The Fire Department and Coast Guard were alerted to the incident north of Black Point at around one-o'clock Monday afternoon and found the man's boat unoccupied and spinning.
Rescue personnel pulled the man from the water and began life-saving efforts, but e later died at South County Hospital.
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is investigating the incident.
