A Providence parking garage attendant is hospitalized after being assaulted on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the victim told investigators that he was in the parking garage office when someone entered and hit him in the head with what he believed was a baseball bat.
The victim says the suspect then fled the scene.
Police are investigating the incident and ask anyone with information to give them a call.
