South Kingstown Police are offering a program to deter porch pirates.
Under the "Ship to Station" initiative, South Kingstown residents can ship packages directly to the police station to keep people from stealing deliveries left at their door.
There are 3 steps to take to have your packages sent to the station and that information can be found on the Police Department's website and social media.
Police will not be responsible for damaged or undelivered packages, and they don't recommend the program for packages that require signatures.
