There will be a number of Veterans Day observances in Rhode Island today.
North Kingstown's Veterans Day Parade begins at 10:00 this morning and it will be followed by a ceremony that will be held at 11:00 and in East Providence the annual Veterans Day Ceremony will take place at the Garden of Flags at Veterans Memorial Park beginning at 10:00 a.m.
In Tiverton, Brookdale Sakonnet Bay is hosting a special Veterans Day Breakfast, and the Pawtucket Veterans Council will host a ceremony at City Hall at 11:00 a.m.
Cranston's Veterans Day parade begins at 11:30 a.m., starting in front of Legion Bowl on Park Avenue.
