Club Mezzo in Providence has been ordered closed for 72 hours after a weekend gunfire incident.
Police responded to the lounge at around 2:00 a.m. after someone reported shots fired and officers found three unoccupied vehicles that had been damaged by bullets.
Representatives for the club will appear in front of the Providence Board of Licenses later this week for a follow-up hearing.
The same club was temporarily closed in 2023 after an officer was injured while trying to arrest an assault suspect.
