A suspect has been arrested after the remains of a missing Warwick woman were found in Exeter this week.
Mark Perkins was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with the first-degree murder of Charlotte Lester who was last seen on May 16th, 2022.
Perkins and Lester knew each other, and he had long been a suspect in the case.
Speaking to reporters after the arrest, Lester family spokeswoman Kathy Wilson said, "It happened exactly the way we thought it did - where we thought it did - by who."
