Governor Dan McKee says cyber criminals have released some of the breached RIBridges data on the dark web.
The cyberattack was announced on December 13th with officials saying it targeted the system the state uses to determine eligibility for healthcare programs and benefits, including food stamps, Medicaid, and cash assistance.
The governor says the most important thing Rhode Islanders can do now is to protect their personal information.
