The Barnstable County Tech Rescue Team activated for a wide-area search on Monday evening.
A missing person was last seen on Crooked Cartway and a command post was set up around 7:30 p.m. at the Cape Cod Airfield on Race Lane.
A Massachusetts State Police helicopter was requested to assist in the search along with K-9 units and drone resources.
The missing individual is around 27 years old and was last seen at 3 p.m. wearing a brown sweatshirt.
The search units were released from the scene around 11:30 p.m.
