Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien and Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee are reacting to Hasbro's decision to relocate its headquarters to Boston.
The mayor says the city is deeply disappointed that after more than 100 years of success in Pawtucket, Hasbro has decided to move.
He says it's disheartening to see a company so deeply rooted in the community choosing to turn its back on that history.
The mayor says it's a painful reality for the people of Pawtucket, who stood by Hasbro for over a century.
Governor Dan McKee thanks Hasbro for making positive business and philanthropy contributions in the state but maintains that Rhode Island is the best place for Hasbro to call home.
