The Rhode Island Department of Transportation will be setting up a detour on part of County Road in Barrington this week.
As part of the ongoing resurfacing project in the East Bay area, eastbound vehicles will be detoured from the traffic circle at Willett Avenue and Washington Road to Middle Highway beginning Thursday.
The detour will be in place from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and it will continue for around two weeks.
County Road westbound will not be affected.
RIDOT has coordinated with the Barrington town and school departments on the timing of the detour to minimize the impact to residents.
