Governor Dan McKee and the Rhode Island Executive Office of Housing have announced 9-point-5-million-dollars in awards through the Housing 2030 Public Developer Program.
The bond-funded initiative is designed to empower Public Housing Authorities and their nonprofit affiliates to develop and preserve affordable rental housing across the state.
The Housing Authority of the City of Newport is being awarded 4-point-5-million for Park View Terrace and Gemini Housing Corporation is receiving five-million-dollars for Winsor Gardens.
