(Providence, RI) -- Hundreds of Rhode Islanders are speaking out against President Trump's executive order regarding immigration and refugees. Protestors gathered on the south lawn of the state house on Saturday opposing the President's action. Over two dozen speakers attended the rally including Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza and Governor Gina Raimondo. Elorza told those gathered that the city supports immigrants despite threats to strip federal funding from sanctuary cities.
