Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Could Have Been Avoided

(Smithfield, RI)  --  Authorities are saying Wednesday night's carbon monoxide poisoning of five people could have been avoided.  Smithfield Fire Chief Robert Seltzer says the carbon monoxide and smoke detectors were removed when the family moved into the home a year ago.  Seltzer says you have to have the detectors in homes.  The family rents the home from the Greenville Public Library.
