Voters Approve Funding For New Barrington Middle School

(Barrington, RI)  --  Barrington voters are giving school officials the go ahead to build a new middle school.  More than 900 voters filled the school to listen to the town's proposal that will cost taxpayers more than three million dollars for the next 25 years to pay for the new school.  The vote passed 590 to 349.  The old middle school has been closed the last two days due to leaks in the aging structure's roof.
