(Woonsocket, RI) -- The owner of Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket is facing a government fraud suit. Part of the approval of the sale of the hospital to California-based Prime Health Services in 2013 was that it was to inform the Rhode Island Attorney General about the outcome of an ongoing fraud investigation by the Department of Justice. There's also the concern that the facility would be turned back into a non-profit operation. The attorney general is asking the court to uphold the terms of the 2013 agreement.
