(Providence, RI) -- Providence Mayor Elorza is in Washington today to discuss the President's executive order on sanctuary cities with Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly. Kelly is meeting with several mayors and police chiefs regarding the order. The mayor considers Providence a sanctuary city, but says the city fully complies with federal law when it comes to immigration issues.
