(Cranston, RI) -- A Cranston school psychologist is facing charges for not reporting an alleged sexual assault. Authorities say 48-year-old Cranston West High School psychologist George Blessing was required by law to report that a student told him she had been sexually assaulted by a teacher. That teacher has been identified as 58-year-old Charles Pearson. Pearson is charged with inappropriately touching four students and faces 12 counts of sexual assault.
