(Johnston, RI) -- A Johnston woman is dead after being struck by a hit and run vehicle. Police say the unidentified woman was struck outside the Cumberland Farms store on Killingly Street last night. The woman was thrown over 50 feet by the impact, and was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later. The black colored sedan that struck the woman continued north on Killingly Street and fled the area. Anyone with information about the vehicle or its driver is asked to contact Johnston Police.
