(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island state officials are warning the public that the dangerous drug fentanyl has been detected in recreational cocaine. Officials are concerned because fentanyl is a powerful narcotic that can be a big problem for a recreational drug user. That's because their tolerance for opioids is much lower, as they do not use powerful drugs regularly. Doctors are being urged to provide the antidote drug naloxone to patients known to use cocaine.
