(Providence, RI) -- Providence City Council is saying it has "no confidence" in its President Luis Aponte after a vote last evening. Aponte is refusing to resign his post after being indicted last Wednesday on four counts in connection with the misuse of campaign funds and embezzlement. Mayor Jorge Elorza is also calling for Aponte to resign.
