(Warwick, RI) -- The Ocean State Theatre Company is being sued by its landlord for back rent. Court documents show that Mutual Properties is owed more than 860-thousand dollars for 40 months rent. The theater announced Tuesday night that it was immediately shutting down because of financial problems. Mutual Properties tells NBC-10 it was "surprised by the abrupt closure."
