(Warwick, RI) -- Warwick City Council member Donna M. Travis will pay a fine for violating Rhode Island Ethics Commission regulations. Following a public hearing Tuesday the commission penalized Travis $1,200 for not disclosing on financial statements that she and her husband held positions with several non-profit organizations. The action stemmed from complaints filed by retired Providence Police Officer John A. Simmoneau Senior who had at one time planned to run against Travis.
