Residents Upset Over Stink From Decaying Clam Meat

(Tiverton, RI)  --  Some residents of Tiverton are raising a stink over the smell of decaying shellfish.  The clamshells were laid down for an access road to a property owner's farm off Main Road, but he used unwashed shells.  Maggots have begun to feed on clam meat adding to the problem.  Tiverton Police and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management say they are investigating.
