Senate Committee Approves Highway Surveillance Bill

(Providence, RI)  --  A bill that would create a surveillance system on Rhode Island highways is advancing in the legislature.  The Senate Judiciary Committee approved the controversial bill yesterday.  The full Senate is expected to vote on the bill today.  It has already been approved by the State House, so if it is approved by the Senate it would go to Governor Raimondo's desk and await her signature.
