(Providence, RI) -- Providence Police say a woman is dead after being assaulted. Authorities say the woman was assaulted around 8 p.m. Saturday on Broad Street and officers say she was slipping in and out of consciousness when they found her. Officers say she also had health problems. She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where she died. Christian Boucher is charged with assault, but that charge may be amended pending the outcome of the medical examiner's report.
