(Providence, RI) -- The Providence Board of Licenses is shutting down the Penthouse club just a month after it opened. The board charged the club with operating adult entertainment, a violation of its license, and staying open after hours, creating a nuisance. The board yesterday revoked all of the club's licenses, but an appeal has been filed. Juan Pichardo resigned from the board after a conflict with Mayor Elorza and Councilman Seth Yurdin over closing the club.
