(Block Island, RI) -- Residents of Block Island want to see a man being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement released. ICE took 29-year-old Mariton Gurguri into custody last week as he was working at the grocery store he manages. A native of Kosovo, Gurguri has been living on Block Island for seven years and residents have been raising money to assist with his legal bills. Gurguri came to the island in 2010 on a student visa.
