Former Patriots Play-By-Play Voice Dies

(Foxboro, MA)  --  Longtime New England Patriots radio announcer Gil Santos has died.  Santos called over 700 Patriots games in his career, including the team's first three Super Bowls, and retired after the 2012 season.  He was 80-years-old. Patriots owner Robert Kraft issued a statement saying Santos was and will forever be known as the Voice of the Patriots for generations of fans.
