Governor Signs Executive Order On Net Neutrality

(Providence, RI)  --  Governor Gina Raimondo is signing an executive order affecting net neutrality in Rhode Island.  The move on Tuesday came a day after the Federal Communications Commission issued new rules allowing Internet providers to block or slow content, or charge content providers more for so-called "fast lanes."  The executive order requires Internet service providers that contract with the state to commit to the principle of previously defined regulations.
