Discrimination Lawsuit Against Patricia Morgan

(Providence, RI)  --  A former legislative worker in Rhode Island is accusing Republican candidate for governor Patricia Morgan of disability discrimination. WPRI-TV reports the complaint filed in Superior Court by Rachel Masciarelli alleges Morgan fired her from her position as policy analyst last year in the House Minority Office, where Morgan as the House Minority Leader served as her supervisor. Masciarelli claims she told Morgan she had a major depressive disorder and required the assistance of a therapy animal. Morgan told the TV station the termination was due to a bad work ethic, and that she wasn't told about a disability.
