PVD Mayor Releases Statement On GoLocalProv Deal

(Providence, RI)  --  Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza says the city's legal team is conducting a review of a contract the city had with media outlet GoLocalProv. Council President David Salvatore called on the website to return over 67-thousand dollars it received for publishing public notices for two years on a no-bid contract. Elorza faulted previous council president Luis Aponte for entering into the deal and said it reeks of cronyism.
