Woman Accused Of Prostitution Escapes Police After Wild High-Speed Chase

A woman who is wanted on charges of prostitution and contempt of court managed to earn a few more days of freedom after she evaded police during a wild high-speed chase through the Milwaukee suburb of Cudahy. Police pulled the woman over for speeding and she identified herself as Latoya Watson, but when the officers pulled up her name, they discovered that the name she had given them was an alias for Laquita Watson, who was wanted on charges of prostitution and contempt of court.

As the officers approached her vehicle, she sped off leading police on a dangerous high-speed chase through residential neighborhoods. She eventually ended up on Highway 794, where she reached a top speed of 108 miles per hour. When she exited the highway, she continued to drive at speeds of 90 miles per hour before officers decided to stop chasing her because it was too dangerous.

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, police issued her citations in absentia for driving without a valid license, insurance or seat belt, speeding, and both obstructing and fleeing from an officer. She could also face charges of reckless endangerment.
