Election Day: Raimondo, Fung Win Primary Races

(Providence, RI)  --  It's a rematch of the 2014 general election as Governor Gina Raimondo faces Allan Fung in November.  Raimondo and Fung notched nearly 60 percent of the vote in the Democratic and Republican primaries on Wednesday, respectively.  Raimondo, who is seeking her second term, beat Fung, 40 percent to 36 percent, in the 2014 election.  Independent candidate Joe Trillo will also be on the ballot.  In the lieutenant governor's Democratic primary, incumbent Daniel McKee won and will face Republican Paul Pence in the general.
