(Providence, RI) -- A walkout was staged in Providence on Monday to show support for victims of sexual assault in connection to the ongoing controversy around U.S. Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh. He is facing at least two accusations of sexual misconduct, but President Trump has claimed the accusations against Kavanaugh are false, and other Republicans have expressed skepticism. The Providence Journal reports about six-hundred men and women went to the Rhode Island Convention Center from the Omni Hotel in support of the national hashtag-Believe Survivors walkout.
