(Providence, RI) -- Calls continue to resonate for a delay in the confirmation process of U.S. Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Two women have made accusations of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh, who has denied any wrongdoing. In Providence yesterday, members of the Rhode Island Democratic Party Women's Caucus spoke in support of suspending the nomination process for an investigation and in support of the two accusers. The president and CEO of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, which happens to be holding its annual conference at the Omni Providence Hotel, also spoke publicly yesterday on the matter.
