(Providence, RI) -- Some lost court records from colonial Rhode Island that were being sold on eBay are back in the possession of the state. A Superior Court judge recently agreed with the Attorney General's office that the records from the mid-18th century were the property of the state and not of the individual who was trying to sell them. State officials were tipped about the missing "minute book" being available on the online auction site earlier this year.
