(Washington, DC) -- Rhode Island Senator and Judiciary Committee member Sheldon Whitehouse has a statement out regarding Thursday's testimony of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the woman accusing him of sexual assault. Whitehouse says Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's testimony was stunning and added further credibility to her already-credible allegations. The former U.S. Attorney and Rhode Island Attorney General said he condemned Republicans for denying Blasey Ford a thorough and sincere investigation. Whitehouse said Kavanaugh exhibited temperament that was unacceptable in a courtroom when he lashed out at senators asking legitimate questions and made unfounded conspiracy allegations.
