Man Convicted Of Shooting Cab Driver Is Sentenced

(Providence, RI)  --  A Pawtucket man is being sentenced to two life sentences plus ten more years in prison for the killing of a cab driver in Central Falls.  Ezekial Johnson was convicted in July on charges stemming from prosecutor claims that he pulled out a gun and shot Jose Rodriguez in the back of the head in 2007.  Johnson maintained his innocence when he was sentenced in Providence Superior Court on Thursday.  There was no apparent motivation for the murder, which was described as an execution.
