(Woonsocket, RI) -- A Woonsocket High School student is being charged after police found a gun and ammunition at the school yesterday morning. The school resource officer located the 14-year-old student and found an unloaded firearm and the ammo in his backpack after he was notified by an administrator that a student had been seen with a gun on campus at around 11:30 a.m., according to the police department. Police say no other students was threatened and that the incident is under investigation.
