Tornado Confirmed In Rhode Island On Tuesday

(Lincoln, RI)  --  The National Weather Service is assessing damage done by a tornado in the northern part of the state on Tuesday.  The weather service confirmed the twister touched down in Lincoln, and that preliminary survey work is also being done in North Providence.  There was a report of a tree down with the roof ripped off one home in Lincoln, and reports from the weather service indicate a tree fell on a car in North Providence.  There were no reports of injuries.
