State Rep Calls For Sexual Harassment Legislation

(Providence, RI)  --  State Representative Gregg Amore is calling for several sexual harassment bills to be immediately considered when the General Assembly reconvenes in January.  The House Commission to Study Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, led by fellow state Rep Theresa Tanzi, proposed the bills earlier this year.  Amore highlighted four pieces of legislation that he specifically wants action on, including one that would require DCYF and the education department to identify or develop a program of age-appropriate sexual abuse and sexual awareness education.  He also tweeted that he supports three bills that were sponsored by Tanzi.
