Bill To Re-Name Post Office Passes Senate

(Washington, DC)  --  Senator Jack Reed says the Senate has approved legislation to name a post office for a fallen decorated Army captain from Rhode Island.  Reed and colleague Sheldon Whitehouse sponsored a bill to name the office in Saunderstown in South County for Matthew August, who was killed in an ambush attack in Iraq in 2004.  Reed said last week that the Senate has approved the legislation, which must now get approval in the U.S. House.
