Dunkin' Notifies Account Holders They May Have Been Hacked

(Canton, MA)  --  Dunkin' is notifying people enrolled in its DD Perks loyalty program that their accounts may have been compromised.  One of the company's security vendors said an outside source might have obtained DD Perks members' usernames and passwords through breaches in other companies.  Dunkin' said it learned of the issue on October 31st.  Dunkin' is telling DD Perks users to create new passwords and is launching an internal investigation.
